The coach of one of the Vladimir fitness clubs, Nadezhda Afanasyeva, recently returned from the Russian Cup in bodybuilding. I brought home three achievements at once! First, she became a master of sports. Secondly, I took gold in the junior category. Thirdly, she became the bronze medalist of the women’s competitions. On her Instagram page, the girl told how much sport means to her:

“Bodybuilding is not about money, it is only for love. I am often asked: “How much did you get for this or that place? You spend everything on this sport, where is the profit, then why do you need it?“. But not everything is measured in money! I am grateful to this sport for making me. He gave health. I was a very sickly child. As a teenager, I got terrible migraines. With sports, everything has changed. When you start working with the body in the gym, it changes completely. Immunity finally returned to normal, although colds did occur, they passed extremely quickly. Headache? It happens, if I didn’t get enough sleep, but what exhausting migraine attacks are, I forgot a long time ago.

My new life began in the hall. I came here after an injury. She lay in bed for six months, then she began to walk, limping, then recovery in the pool and, finally, the gym. It was a very dark period and I was given a chance to start from scratch. Of course, I associate the hall with those hopes, with the thirst to live, if you like. Sports help set goals. You can train regularly and without competition, but I like specifics. Competition is the very specific goal, the catalyst for progress. The more accurate your map, the faster you will get to the treasured treasure.

And of course, the scene is intoxicating. As a child, I performed with an ensemble, went to solo competitions in different cities, and even though I have not sung for many years, I will never stop dreaming of returning to the spotlights. Ranks are already Wishlist from the category of children’s desires. So I want to get a sports title, and that’s it. The soul demands.

Also the other day the Race of Heroes took place. Alena Zhigareva took part in it – for many years the girl lived in Vladimir, a year ago she moved to Moscow. Race is the kilometers of rough terrain that the teams must overcome as quickly as possible. The weather added difficulties to the athletes: mud due to rain, cold. All this added to the already difficult distance.But Alena coped with which we congratulate her!

It is worth shaving a hand and Roman Fedotov. His team recently participated at the Russian Zumba Week-2021 festival. Vladimir athletes lit on stage in front of a thousandth audience and tore off applause.
