The NBA basketball league postponed two matches of the Chicago Bulls team due to the spread of coronavirus. These are the first games of the season that will not be held on the planned dates due to the Covid-19.

Previously planned for Tuesday, the game of the team from Chicago with Detroit Pistons, as well as the meeting with Toronto Raptors planned on Thursday, will have to take place later. Last season, the NBA postponed 31 matches due to coronavirus.

According to the NBA, ten Chicago Bulls players and several more team staff are currently on quarantine, and there was a risk that the club could not collect the composition for these games.

The NHL hockey league had to go along the same path: the three games of Kalgary Flames were postponed. Six players and one auxiliary employee are currently on quarantine, and, according to the NHL, the number of positive tests in the coming days may increase.

This is the third case in the current season of the NHL, when one of the teams had to suspend performances due to coronavirus.
